The Latin Recording Academy and OneOf have revealed that Latin Grammy-winning artist Carlos Vives will be Creative Director for the 23rd Annual Latin Grammy Awards NFT Collection. Carlos Vives holds 15 Latin Grammy wins throughout his career and is a nominee in five categories this year including Record of the Year and Album of the Year.
As part of an exclusive three-year partnership between The Latin Academy and OneOf, the NFT collection is designed to celebrate Latin music and its talented visual arts creators in the weeks leading up to the 23rd Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards on November 17th in Las Vegas.
“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to curate the visual art that will be featured in the 23rd Annual Latin Grammy Awards NFT Collection,” Vives shares. “I cannot wait for my fans to enjoy this NFT drop and all of the incredible work created by artists from around the world that represent Latin music and its communities so beautifully.”
As Creative Director of the collection, Vives aims to educate Latin music fans and bring a new wave of excitement to Web3. NFT artists selected to participate in creating the collection include Jimena Buena Vida (Colombia), J.N. Silva (Venezuela), Maria Delgado (Nicaragua), Monaris (Puerto Rico) and Carlos Luna James (Mexico).

The primary drop in this exclusive collection will go live today (Wed, Nov 9th). It includes five Gold-tier NFTs and five Platinum-tier NFTs featuring visual art from the five Latin NFT artists starting at $10 each.
The Gold-tier NFTs will offer fans exclusive perks including the chance to attend the 23rd Latin Grammy Awards broadcast on November 17th in Las Vegas, the chance to win a custom hoodie featuring the NFT art, exclusive content including backstage photos and videos, as well as exclusive access for future Latin Grammy drops. Select US-based buyers will also receive a t-shirt featuring the NFT art.
The Platinum-tier NFT drop includes limited-edition hoodies featuring digital twin NFTs for buyers in the US and abroad. Holders will also receive exclusive content including backstage photos and videos, be entered for a chance to win a pair of flyaway tickets to the 23rd Latin Grammy Awards, the chance to win a pair of Carlos Vives concert tickets and receive exclusive pre-sale access to future Latin GRAMMY drops.
The Diamond-tier NFT will start at $1,000 and offers t-shirts and custom hoodies to both domestic and international buyers, the chance to win an official artist gift lounge bag for those 21+, and an airdrop of exclusive content from the 23rd Annual Latin Grammy Awards into the OneOf vault along with exclusive pre-sale access to future Latin Grammy drops.
A free, Green-tier NFT is also currently available for fans, designed based on the official artwork of the 23rd Annual Latin Grammy Awards painted by Mexican muralist Quetzal Fuerte.
