Apeiron, the first play-to-earn (P2E) NFT god game built on blockchain, has unveiled its Marketplace Emporium.
The news, which the platform shared with Invezz on Wednesday, also includes details of an upcoming airdrop as the project moves toward global user adoption. Per the P2E adventure game’s team of developers, the marketplace going live today will also see users create accounts and be eligible for a “Solar Fragment” giveaway – part of the Battle Demo Pass.

On 1 september, the Apeiron team reported that Emporium (which would be a marketplace for Planets) was to offer a “one-stop shop” where gamers would get all they need.
Before the launch, Apeiron had hosted its NFTs on leading NFT marketplace OpenSea.However, with plans to avoid the fees, disruptions of bugs and other issues, the team opted for its own NFT marketplace where users can buy, sell and trade Apeiron NFTs without suffering the highlighted disadvantages.

As stated in the blog post, the Marketplace does not just host the Apeiron assets, but also integrates a Sanctuary that allows players to breed Planet NFTs via Celestial Conjunction.
Emporium also comes with Expeditions, a functionality that offers users the capacity to stake their NFTs to earn rewards.
When it launches, Apeiron’s god game will feature a distinctive card-based action-adventure gameplay. In the game, players can create planets before taking on an avatar to try solve mysteries related to these creations from the ground.
Planets will grow till no further development is possible, which then would see players opt for a reset – through an Armageddon event.
The development follows Apeiron’s $17 million seed round completed in April, and brings the platform closer to realising its roadmap, including the launch of a tri-token system. This means Apeiron will offer three types of tokens – a play-to-earn token, governance token, and a team-to-earn token.
With the marketplace live, players can now trade Apeiron Planets competitively in the market, with breeding and staking of planets adding to the game’s functionality.
Foonie Magus CEO and Apeiron creator Frank Cheng commented:
“The launch of our marketplace marks the beginning of a countdown, a countdown to the rebirth of God Games and the dawn of a new paradigm, where quality innovations begin revealing themselves in web3.”
