OpenSea is now enabling artists to publish NFT drops on their own personalized drop pages where they can share photographs and videos, present team highlights, reveal their roadmaps as part of its most recent commitment to improve narrative and discoverability for its users.
The platform explains in its blog post about the announcement: “Drop pages will include information about the drop, the minting schedule, a countdown clock, and of course — an NFT gallery. We’ll also allow collectors to set alerts via email or add to their calendar to remind them when to return to mint.”
Users will have access to SeaDrops, a brand-new open-source smart contract that simplifies the process of developing unique smart contracts.
SeaDrop will save artists time and increase the visibility of their work by featuring their drops on the OpeanSea portal.
OpenSea disclosed: “Developing a secure smart contract that can orchestrate multi-stage drops is one of the most important and technically complex elements, and now creators can skip this step entirely by using SeaDrop.”
