SEOUL, South Korea, Aug. 11, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Global blockchain and NFT company CRIPCO has announced the launch of its first project, 'WADE Friends & Family' NFT, on the Magic Eden Launchpad on August 29, 2022, at 08:00 PST.
'WADE F&F' is a membership based NFT project that utilizes the virtual artist WADE IP, created by CRIPCO's DAO key members IPX (formerly LINE FRIENDS) and KB LEE. DJ and Producer WADE, a skateboarding and surfing enthusiast who also loves fashion and music, has garnered attention for his selection as the first virtual model for 'SAINT Mxxxxxx (SAINT MICHAEL)'.
An outstanding feature of the 'WADE F&F' project is that it is being promoted in partnership with Magic Eden, the leading NFT marketplace on Solana. Magic Eden has seen over USD 2 billion in transactions traded across its secondary market and has attracted a company valuation of USD 1.6 billion for its rapid growth.
The Magic Eden Launchpad, where 'WADE F&F' will launch, vets all launchpad projects and only accepts qualified projects. This was the case with 'Okay Bears', which is now one of the most successful projects in the Solana NFT space.
'WADE F&F' is also unique in that it presents a new and differentiated roadmap and vision following the recent shift from PFP NFTs to community-based membership NFT projects offering benefits including airdrops and IRL events.
WADE F&F Membership holders receive exclusive and diverse benefits including limited-edition music, collectible NFT airdrops, invitations to private offline events, and the privilege to reserve collaboration products in advance. In particular, with IPX on board as a key member of CRIPCO's DAO and strategic business partner, CRIPCO will continue to introduce IPX's original IP-based NFTs such as WADE PFP, and OOZ & mates.
Members can enjoy collaborations in the real world and the metaverse from CRIPCO DAO members such as KB LEE, Fujiwara Hiroshi and Edison Chen as well as Grammy-award winning James Fauntleroy. The 'WADE F&F' project aims to be a bold game changer in the NFT space by transcending the features and benefits of notable Web3 projects such as 'PROOF' in the collective NFT space, 'RTFKT' in the metafashion space and 'BAYC', one of the most recognizable Web3 IP.
CRIPCO stated that it will expand virtual artist WADE's presence from the subculture scene to the NFT space. CRIPCO also added that 'WADE F&F' will spearhead new trends and changes in fashion and music NFTs and accomplish our 'IP 3.0' roadmap by promoting the value of sustainable membership NFTs beyond IP hype.
Zhuoxun Yin, COO and Co-Founder of Magic Eden, commented, "At Magic Eden, we have ambitions to onboard the next billion users to Web3. Bringing in exciting new IPs like WADE, which sits at the intersection of fashion, music, and culture allows us to reach new users who can experience the fun and connective utilities of NFTs. We are excited to launch the first IPX/CRIPCO collection with WADE F&F and unlock a wealth of exciting utilities for NFT collectors who will be able to access an expansive suite of IP assets as well as digital & IRL experiences."
A total of 2,100 'WADE F&F NFTs' will be issued on August 29 at 8:00 PST. Further details will be posted on the project's website (www.worldwide-wade.com), Discord server, and social media.

Gross domestic product (GDP) grew 4.4% year-on-year in the second quarter, the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) said, slower than the 4.8% growth seen in the government's advance estimate. "Downside risks in the global economy remain significant…further escalations in the Russia-Ukraine conflict could worsen global supply disruptions and exacerbate inflationary pressures through higher food and energy prices," said Gabriel Lim, permanent secretary of MTI at a media briefing.
