Dapper Labs is collaborating with the New York Jets on an NFT drop through its latest platform, NFL All Day, the company’s pro football equivalent to NBA Top Shot. The first round of Jets-centric NFTs — recognizing the team’s 2022 Ring of Honor Class — will be available beginning on Sept. 20 at 10am ET, via jets.nflallday.com. The partnership is an outgrowth of Dapper Labs’ soft launch last fall of the NFL All Day marketplace, which distributed official league video highlight NFTs called “Moments’’ for fans to purchase or trade. Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes has been dubbed the face of the NFL All Day franchise for 2022, and the platform’s debut Series 1 pack, titled “Headliners,’’ dropped in mid-August featuring Buccaneers QB Tom Brady, Titans RB Derrick Henry and Colts RB Jonathan Taylor.
NICE RING TO IT: Fans who purchase the Jets’ limited-edition Legendary Ring of Honor NFTs  — 50 of which are available for $699 apiece — can redeem tickets to the three Ring of Honor games during the 2022 season at MetLife Stadium. The public can similarly buy the Rare tier (a total of 1,000 are available for $59 each) or the Common tier (5,000 available for $9 apiece). Dapper Labs initially carved out its NFT niche with the NBA and NBPA and later with UFC. Its partnership with the NFL began in September of 2021 and continues to expand. In addition to the upcoming Jets NFT drop, NFL All Day is scheduled to be the presenting partner of MetLife Stadium’s Jets Sky Cam, which provides spectators with innovative camera angles, replays and entertainment. The winner of the 2022 Sports Business Award for Best in Sports Technology, Dapper Labs raised just over $550M in 2021 at a $7.6B valuation. Its highest-selling NFT, a LeBron James dunk, netted $387,000.
