Today, in a surprising move by Twitter, the social media company has suspended the official DeGods NFT accounts, along with Y00ts and members of their wider team. The suspension was a massive shock to the DeGods NFT community, who have been actively trying to figure out what happened. In fact, at one point, Y00ts was trending online with over six thousand tweets about the issue. So, why are the DeGods and Y00ts’ Twitter accounts banned?
It is unclear at this time with the social media accounts of the DeGods and Y00ts NFT project is receiving this harsh treatment. The situation is ongoing, and the team is trying to find out more. The large DeGods community has spent the afternoon tweeting @Twittersupport, hoping to solve the problem.
In a tweet this afternoon, @frankdegods, a member of the NFT team, said, “All of our team’s Twitter accounts were just suspended. Not sure if mine will be too. Just be patient. We are contacting @Twitter right now. This could be an attack. Do not click any links.”
Key accounts of the DeGods and Y00ts Twitter ecosystem are now inaccessible. Nine accounts, including @y00tsNFT, @DeGodsNFT, @y00tlist, @DeGodsSalesBot, @0x_chill, and others are currently under suspension.
Well, in the coming days, Twitter support will decide whether to uphold the DeGods suspension or not. The DeGods and Y00ts community members are doing all they can to help. One tweet tagged @Twittersupport has over four thousand comments, three thousand retweets, and almost fifteen thousand likes.
Hopefully, we will find out more about the suspension over the next few days. If and when the DeGods and Y00ts accounts are restored, it will be interesting to find out why this happened.
