The mobile-first, play-to-earn game Dogamí officially launches its first tech demo on September 14. In this tech demo, 100 Dogamers will have the unique opportunity to test the game, provide feedback and support this Dogamí. Undoubtedly, this test launch will serve as a sneak peek into the Dogamí universe.
The main aim of the Dogamí tech launch is to gather the feedback necessary before the broader release, which is referred to as Soft Launch 1. At the end of the testing period, the 100 testers will receive a $DOGA airdrop. What’s more, committed testers will also receive an extra bout of $DOGA as a “thank you” for their valuable work.
If you’re interested in becoming a Dogamer, you’ll be pleased to learn that applications open on September 1. However, only Alpha series 1 holders are eligible to apply. There are only 50 spots for applicants since the rest are reserved for those holders with more than 7 Dogamí NFTs.
The Dogamí Tech Launch will be followed by Soft Launch 1, which will incorporate all the feedback gathered from the beta test. Therefore, if you don’t land a Dogamer testing spot, you can still participate as soon as the Soft Launch begins. During the Soft Launch, more Dogamers will be allowed to play the game, as well as earn rewards.
Dogamí is a play-to-earn, metaverse-ready game that revolves around our four-legged friends. On Dogamí’s Petaverse, Dogamers can play games, adopt pets and socialise with other Dogamers. The Dogamí tech launch will serve as a small taster of what the team has in store.
The game’s main objective is to create the rarest Dogamí, also known as a virtual dog. Each virtual dog goes through the stages of being a Puppy, Adult and Spirit. To level up, Dogamers need to raise their Dogamí well and participate in games that are similar to what dog owners do IRL.
In addition to unique, gamified DeFi Features, Dogamí stands out from the crowd due to its play-to-earn mechanics. It is built on Tezos and already has an in-game token called $DOGA. Dogamers can use $DOGA to purchase wearables, buy ticket events, breed their Dogamí and help build the future of the Petaverse. There is a limited supply of 1 billion $DOGA, which also serves as a governance token.
These features are only a small part of the Dogamí roadmap. Apart from the Dogamí tech launch, the 2022 roadmap includes the mobile game launch, real-life community events and a wearables drop. What’s more, it also includes The Sandbox interoperability and the launch of a PVP experience. It’s safe to say that Dogamí is carving its own niche in the metaverse!
