Baby Doge Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) now offers users PlayToEarn (P2E) utility through its partnership with Petaverse in the Decentraland metaverse.
Petaverse is the first P2E pet park in Decentraland. Through the protocols’ collaboration, Baby Doge NFT holders can earn free tokens in the Petaverse. Further, they would receive up to 2.5x boosted earnings, according to an Aug. 10 Petaverse announcement on Twitter.

Five pets, including Baby Doge NFTs, are in the Petaverse. Decentraland players can explore the pet park with their avatars and complete daily and weekly challenges to earn rewards. The challenge is straightforward. Users need to search for pet care items and groom all five pets available in the Petaverse.
Completing challenges will reward users with bones, which players can use to unlock unique NFT items. Like Baby Doge NFT holders who automatically get a 2.5x boost, users who unlock wearable items will have increased in-game rewards. The Petaverse park also features a top 10 leaderboard, rewarding the best players weekly.
Decentraland’s introduction of Baby Doge NFTs to the Petaverse is a strong indication of Baby Doge’s progress in the blockchain industry. While many protocols have launched their native NFT collections with benefits, Baby Doge is in the mix with an exciting utility for holders in one of the largest metaverses in the GameFi space.
