Iconic heavy metal band GWAR and Fanaply are dropping a new NFT collection, called The GWAR NFT Pack, a throwback to trading cards, on the Polygon blockchain. Claiming a pack gives fans one of eight NFTs at reveal for a random chance to earn common, rare or super-rare NFTs.
Additionally, everyone who buys a pack will get a bonus “chewed gum” NFT, which is a play on the stick of gum that used to come in trading card packs. The NFTs, limited to 500 per pack, are available for purchase for $30 beginning Monday, July 25th at 11:30 am ET via Fanaply.
GWAR has had incredible success with NFTs, with all of their past NFTs selling out, including last year’s debut collection of three NFTs.
Fanaply creates blockchain-based digital collectibles, or NFTs, for some of the top musicians, record labels, festivals, events, athletes, comedians, sports teams, celebrities and brands in the world, including Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, the New Jersey Devils, NHL star Tyler Seguin, Death Row Records, Niall Horan, 5 Seconds of Summer, Kentucky Derby, Professional Fighters League, Bubba Wallace, NASCAR team JTG Racing and many more.
Fanaply believes the future of NFTs is an accessible one, where people can actually afford to buy them and purchase with credit/debit cards. No crypto or crypto knowledge needed to buy!
Fanaply has the most environmentally friendly NFTs and has built a system that dramatically reduces the impact of energy consumption. They have recently partnered with Offsetra to completely eliminate any residual emissions and are now 100% carbon neutral.
