June 16 – Online NFT Auction to Benefit Ferndale Cat Shelter, Featuring SAM Cats
Ferndale, MI – NiftyBaby, “NFTs for Everyone!” is pleased to announce ‘SAM Cats”, the debut NFT drop from Los Angeles-based artist SAM, to benefit the Ferndale Cat Shelter (including Catfé). This philanthropic series will include numbered, limited edition artwork, available at accessible prices, as well as exclusive “1-of-1” pieces which will be auctioned off. Both illustrated and animated media types are included in the NFT series.
SAM (Stephen Allen Mitchell) is a Michigan native and Los Angeles-based artist and film industry professional. SAM’s paintings echo Mid-Century vibes, steeped in lounge-lizard and tiki-bar culture. The SAM Cats Collection is his take on Atomic Kitty style art and was originally created as oil on canvas, then digitized, enhanced, and embellished for this special event. Alternate versions feature gentle animation for a unique digital video display.
This event is open to the public, even participants who don’t currently have a cryptocurrency wallet (or know what that means, yet). NiftyBaby will guide auction winners through the process of setting up their wallets and guidance on keeping safe custody of their NFT. All buyers will immediately receive the digital artwork upon purchase. NiftyBaby offers custom acrylic and digital NFT framing options so the artwork may be displayed and experienced with friends.
