Earlier today, elite Scotch tycoons Royal Salute announced their new NFT exclusive release – Royal Salute 27-Year-Old Single Cask Finish. The drop went live on BlockBar.com at 10 PM GMT. The release of 315 bottles costs USD 965 (0.74 ETH) a bottle. The 27-Year-Old Single Cask Finish showcases the Royal Salute’s innovative approach to the art of whisky blending. Royal Salute is a name that carries a deep heritage in the scotch industry. Their innovative ideas extend beyond the realm of liquor, though. This is the first exclusive BlockBar Royal Salute scotch NFT drop. Moreover, what makes this one special is that this is a twenty seven-year-old blend. The cask held a rare Oloroso for 18 months before being filled with the rich blended Scotch and left to finish.
Royal Salute Master Blender Sandy Hyslop perfected the concoction to fascinate the tastebuds with a complex profile. The expression has various flavors including dark chocolate ganache, ripe plums, and freshly baked ginger cake. There are extra notes of dark toffee, Florentine biscuits, morello cherry jam, and cinnamon to further enhance the taste. In addition to the exclusive NFT release, two lucky bottle owners will have the opportunity to enjoy a VIP Tour of the Strathisla Distillery. On this tour, they would get to taste the rarest Royal Salute inventory of maturing whiskies!
