Major League Baseball, known as MLB, is looking for a new licensing manager for NFTs, digital games, and the metaverse. The job advertisement on Linkedin states that the position is a hybrid role located in New York, USA. The successful applicant will be in charge of developing and executing partnership strategies in expanding digital portfolio areas. This includes the entire web3 ecosystem – including NFTs, metaverse, wearable technology, and AR/VR. Moreover, according to the job offer, the role pays between $75,000 to $140,000 a year. Web3 jobs are on the rise, and this is an excellent opportunity to work at a huge organization and help to direct its web3 future.
Major League Baseball is the world’s biggest and most popular professional baseball organization. Founded in 1876, they are now developing ways to navigate the new web3 landscape. Furthermore, MLB has already released various NFT collections with great success. Therefore, the new licensing manager will have to expand MLB’s digital ecosystem and find ways to develop it.
