The global cryptocurrency market capitalization has gained 1.3% over the past 24 hours to $977 billion. Bitcoin has gained by a little over 1% and is now trading at around $19,607. While the gains are quite small, some cryptocurrencies have stood out and are set to make notable gains today.
IMPT, Tamadoge (TAMA), Quant (QNT), and Internet Computer (ICP) are trending today, and they could rally to higher levels.
IMPT is a new project focused on transforming the carbon credits market to ensure that the infrastructure is easier and more seamless to use. The project plans to do this through a “responsible shopping” platform where individuals mindful of their carbon footprint will be incentivized.
The IMPT token is on a presale that is halfway through completion. This makes it possible for anyone that wants to be part of the project to accumulate more before the token is officially released on crypto exchange platforms.
Early investors that wish to participate in this presale can do so through the IMPT website. The presale has already raised more than $5 million, showing heightened interest from investors in the project.
The carbon offsetting plan of the IMPT project is something that people are focused on as they choose to diversify into ESG-friendly cryptocurrencies.
Tamadoge is trending because of its promising non-fungible token (NFT) project. The NFT drop on October 6 was ranked as one of the most successful drops this year. Another collection of 1000 rare NFTs was also released on October 17, which makes TAMA one of the best cryptos to invest in.
Tamadoge is a meme coin that is setting itself apart from the rest by focusing on utility. The project blends in some of the hottest areas in the sector, such as NFTs, metaverse, and blockchain gaming. TAMA has dropped 7.7% over the past 24 hours to trade at $0.0305 at the time of writing.
QNT has stood out because of its exemplary performance in recent weeks. QNT’s monthly gains currently stand at nearly 80% after immense buying pressure. However, the token’s bullish sentiment seems to be weakening, as seen in the 10.9% dip over the past 24 hours.
At the time of writing, QNT is trading at $196. During the past 24 hours, the token reached a yearly high of $222. The overbought status of the coin has seen it enter the top 30 largest cryptocurrencies. QNT’s market cap stands at $2.83 billion, ranking it the 28th largest cryptocurrency.
One of the drivers of Quant’s recent rally is increased talk about central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). The CEO of Quant, Gilbert Verdian, was seen in a meeting at the European Central Bank alongside the London Stock Exchange, the Central Bank of Lithuania, and the Central Bank of Italy.
Internet Computer (ICP) has dropped by 1.4% over the past 24 hours. ICP has continued with its bearish sentiment, as seen in the 17% decline reported over the past two weeks. At the time of writing, QNT was trading at $5.
ICP has been one of the worst-performing tokens this year. ICP hit an all-time high more than a year ago but has since lost over 99% of its value. If the current losing streak continues, ICP will likely drop toward $4.75, given that market support is low.
