Let’s face it: The NFT space moves really fast. Considering how quickly things can change in the metaverse, a week in NFTs might as well be a month IRL.
Don’t get us wrong — the more people onboarded into the space, the merrier. But because of the constant influx of great art and ideas, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with all the news, launches, and general happenings.
Well, you can put the days of endless Twitter and Discord scrolling behind you, as we put together a weekly list of upcoming NFT drops you definitely don’t want to miss. Here’s what to look out for this week.
Who: Swopes
What: One of Swopes’ daily one-of-one NFT drops
When: October 17, auction closes @ 6:40 p.m. ET
Where: sunrise.art
Why: If you think you’ve missed out on a fresh drop from one of NFT photography’s most notable figures, then you’re in luck. Since the beginning of 2022, photo NFT icon Swopes has been curating the Sunrise Art Club — a daily photo NFT project that captures the beauty of the urban sunrise with built-in traits per NFT drop. If you haven’t tuned into this daily project, now would be a good time. The project ends on January 1, 2022. Considering that each piece of this planned 365-piece collection drops every day, only 66 Sunrise Art club NFTs are left to collect.

Following a decades-long career of his own, the reggae maestro hopes to further add to his own legacy with the release of Beach in Hawaii — the singer’s first foray into the NFT space. Highlighting this drop is the opportunity to bring home an autographed guitar from the reggae legend. With OneOf at the helm, Marley’s fans can potentially find a very compelling foothold into Web3 thanks to the green NFT platform’s emphasis on a consumer-first, frictionless experience. Proceeds from this upcoming sale are set to go toward Marley’s charity of choice.
