In fact, each digital assset brings unique experiences and prizes – so let’s find out more!
This week, the iconic eight-time GRAMMY winner Ziggy Marley officially taps into NFTs! In essence, his NFT collection reveals the unheard version of his song “Beach In Hawaii”. The drop will go live on October 17th via OneOf, a green music-focused Web3 platform.
In addition to the demo, fans will also receive a digital artwork from none other than Jim Mahfood. The iconic illustrator has been working with Cartoon Network, Marvel, Disney, and created several comic book series himself.
Of course, the NFT’s illustration perfectly captures Ziggy Marley’s reggae style and the essence of “Beach In Hawaii.” After all, the Rolling Stones once described it as “a quick-stepping song wiht sun-soaked guitars that mask a heartsick loneliness”. Let’s have a look:
If you’re interested in Ziggy Marley’s NFT collection, you’re in for many surprises. Each NFT holder can get one of the following prizes:
Considering these amazing opportunities, Ziggy’s NFT drop is a go-to choice for any reggae music enthusiast. Notably, the performer will donate 100% of the proceeds to his own charity foundation, U.R.G.E. (Unlimited Resources Giving Enlightenment). The organization aims to support children’s health care and educational systems worldwide with a focus on Africa and Jamaica.
In essence, OneOf is a green Web3 platform focusing on entertainment NFTs. Launched in 2021, it is built on the Tezos and Polygon blockchains. Its user-friendly interface and simple payment methods skyrocketed the platform to popularity. These parks have also attracted many popular musicians, including Doja Cat, Biggie Smalls, DJ Alesso, and even the official Grammy Awards!
“I’m looking forward to my fans getting to experience my music and Jim Mahfood’s brilliant illustration in this new way thanks to my NFT collection and OneOf,” Ziggy Marley said in a statement. “To combine my first launch on Web3 with my charitable U.R.G.E foundation is an exciting opportunity for my music and work.”
