The Trump Organization denies any involvement in the “$TRUMP Wallet,” a cryptocurrency wallet application currently under development. Despite the app’s branding and association with President Donald Trump, a spokesperson for the Trump Organization explicitly stated, “The Trump Organization knows nothing about this project.”
The $TRUMP Wallet’s website offers limited information, promising users the ability to hold and trade digital assets but lacking technical details or a launch date. A waitlist is available for early access. The project’s connection to Magic Eden, a prominent cryptocurrency marketplace, was confirmed by CEO Jack Lu on X (formerly Twitter). This confirmation, however, has been refuted by the Trump Organization.
Adding to the intrigue, Magic Eden is reportedly collaborating with GetTrumpMemes.com, the website behind the Trump memecoin. This further links the $TRUMP Wallet to the broader ecosystem surrounding Trump-branded crypto initiatives.
President Trump’s engagement with the cryptocurrency space has been noticeable since his return to the political arena. Previous ventures include World Liberty Financial, a stablecoin project, and the meme tokens Trump Coin and Melania Coin. These initiatives preceded Trump’s planned 2025 inauguration.
Donald Trump Jr. also addressed the $TRUMP Wallet on X, stating that the Trump Organization had “zero involvement” with the wallet. However, he announced that World Liberty Financial would soon release its own cryptocurrency wallet, suggesting a continued interest in the crypto market within the Trump sphere of influence.
The discrepancy between the claims made by the $TRUMP Wallet’s website and the Trump Organization’s denials creates considerable uncertainty surrounding the project.
