As soon as his name was connected to this upcoming movie project, the company’s market price went up like a rocket. Considering that the market hit NFT companies hard last year, this comes as a piece of great news as they move into the New Year.
But it is not only Johnson that the company announced. They also added the action hero, Mark Wahlberg’s name, to the list of actors that they will be working with for this movie project.

Earlier today, TheCryptoTimes announced that Gala Games will be working with Dwayne Johnson and Mark Wahlberg on different movie projects. This led to the company’s NFT token, Gala Token prices surging 70% in just one day.
While the NFT company Gala Games is popular for releasing mobile games, this partnership came out of nowhere. They also recently acquired a mobile games studio after being this successful in the market.

While everyone knew about the company’s games side, very few people knew about their other companies, Gala Music and Gala Film. On their Discord page, the company announced this news, which led to their token, $GALA to surge overnight.
But neither Mark Wahlberg nor Dwayne Johnson have confirmed their partnership with Gala yet.

But as Gala publicly announced this news, people were quick to raise the prices for their tokens. Once Johnson confirms this news, the price could even go higher.
Currently, the price of one token is $0.04. This was solely due to the announcement of Johnson and Wahlberg’s partnership news. This is also the first time that Johnson’s name has been attached to an NFT company since the industry’s mainstream influence during the COVID pandemic.
