YEREVAN (CoinChapter.com) — Hollywood megastar Sir Anthony Hopkins is launching his first nonfungible token (NFT) collection. The Oscar-winning star has partnered with Web3 media company Orange Comet to drop his digital collectibles called “The Eternal Collection.”
The Golden Globe and BAFTA awardee’s upcoming collection is influenced by the various characters he has enacted in dozens of films throughout his career. Moreover, some of the NFTs are pieces from his artwork collection.
The tentative date of the release of “The Eternal Collection” is September 16. According to reports, the series will be available on OpenSea, the largest NFT marketplace.
“Orange Comet is proud to announce its distinguished partnership with Sir Anthony Hopkins…Through a series of thought-provoking images and animations, this NFT collection immortalizes Sir Anthony Hopkins’ diverse archetypal interpretations of The Eternal: The Jester, The Lover, The Rebel, The Hero, et al,”
The team has divided the project into three drops of 10 digital animations of the actor. Each of these comes with a set of perks for the buyer. These include an intimate discussion with Hopkins, an exclusive audio clip of Sir Anthony Hopkins, and an autographed Dreamscapes Art Book featuring hundreds of full-color images of his paintings and drawings.
The team will also auction off a special one-of-one NFT in the Iconic Category. The piece is an edit of all the ten digital animation characters combined into a single piece.
The owner of this piece will also get a chance to have an intimate lunch or a brunch with Sir Anthony Hopkins, according to Orange Comet.

Anthony Hopkins is perhaps one of the most iconic figures in the industry. His film ‘Zero Contact’ hit the screens last year as an NFT on the Vuele platform.
Ever since, his interest in the industry has grown. As CoinChapter earlier, Hopkins announced in June that he was looking to buy his first NFT. He even asked singer Snoop Dogg, comedian and television host Jimmy Fallon, and actress Reese Witherspoon for advice.
Now, he enjoys NFT so much that he calls himself “the old guy on the block.”
“NFTs for me are a blank canvas to create art in a new format… I was nervous at first when I did it because I thought well, I have the same nerves as vanity. It’s okay to have anticipation nerves, but you gotta get on with it,”
With the actor turning 85 at the end of this year, the NFTs are no longer just for the younger generation. As the industry gets traction, more celebrities are joining the fray.
