Bill Murray’s journey in the Web3 world continues with a DeadFellaz NFT! The famous comedian bought the collectible for 1.5 ETH on July 13th. Of course, the DeadFellaz community welcomed Murray with open arms. Meanwhile, other collectors are eagerly waiting for the Bill Murray 1000 NFT drop set to launch in less than 24 hours.
This week, Bill Murray made headlines again after purchasing a DeadFellaz NFT. Accordingly, he spent 1.5 ETH on the piece via the Coinbase NFT marketplace. In terms of design, the asset has several rare features: reptile eyes, dreads, and a golf vest.
The news quickly circled the NFT Twitter community. In fact, the official account of DeadFellaz tweeted a welcome message too along with a link to Murray’s DeadFellaz #5778 NFT. Obviously, the project’s community members (nicknamed “the horde”) were thrilled about the news.
In fact, the new purchase expands Murray’s already impressive NFT collection. Right now, he holds 12 NFTs from the most valuable collections to date. CryptoPunks, World of Women, Gutter Cat Gang, and Cool Cats are just a few names on the list.
Nevertheless, some collectors thought Murray is preparing to drop his own NFT collection “in the next few days” – and they were right!
In less than 24 hours, we should be able to mint the Bill Murray 1000 NFT collection. In essence, each collectible will tell a story from the comedian’s life. Considering his four-decade career, the NFTs will definitely reveal interesting insights into Murray’s memories.
