The visual identity of the 2022 Latin GRAMMYs will be resplendent — and now, you can own a piece of it in the digital ether.
On Nov. 9, The Latin Recording Academy and OneOf — the leading Web3 platform for music, lifestyle brands, and sports — revealed that Latin GRAMMY- and GRAMMY-winning artist Carlos Vives will be Creative Director for the 2022 Latin GRAMMY Awards NFT Collection.
Vives holds 15 Latin GRAMMY wins throughout his career, and is a nominee in five categories this year, including Record Of The Year and Album Of The Year.
As part of an exclusive three-year partnership between The Latin Academy and OneOf, the NFT collection is designed to celebrate Latin music and its talented visual arts creators in the weeks leading up to the 2022 Latin GRAMMYs on Nov. 17 in Las Vegas.

"I cannot wait for my fans to enjoy this NFT drop and all of the incredible work created by artists from around the world that represent Latin music and its communities so beautifully."
As Creative Director of the 2022 Latin GRAMMYs NFT collection, Vives aims to educate Latin music fans and bring a new wave of excitement to Web3. NFT artists selected to participate in creating the collection include Jimena Buena Vida (Colombia), J.N. Silva (Venezuela), Maria Delgado (Nicaragua), Monaris (Puerto Rico) and Carlos Luna James (Mexico).

Last fall, OneOf partnered with the Recording Academy to host its very first NFT collection to commemorate the 2022 GRAMMYs, as well as the upcoming 2023 and 2024 GRAMMYs. Mexican muralist Quetzal Fuerte has been selected as the official artist of the 2022 Latin GRAMMYs — and his work has been commemorated with the Latin Recording Academy's first-ever NFT drop.
The 2022 Latin GRAMMYs are right around the corner, on Nov. 17 — and now we have a taste of its unique visual flair.
On Oct. 20, the Latin Recording Academy announced that Mexican muralist Quetzal Fuerte has been selected as the official artist of the 2022 Latin GRAMMYs.
Approaching this year's official Latin GRAMMY artwork with a fresh lens, Quetzal's mural for The Latin Recording Academy reflects his distinct, vibrant style, and capturesthe energy of Latin music through the use of colors.
The mural is on display in Morelia, Mexico, and a sister piece will soon be created at the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles in November, in an effort to provide access to art and local enthusiasm for the upcoming Latin GRAMMYs.
Additionally, Quetzal's work will be featured prominently on collateral materials and as an exclusive NFT before and during the 23rd Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards.

For the official artwork of the 23rd Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards and accompanying mural, the artist shows a variety of musical instruments to illustrate the multifaceted Latino experience through the juxtaposition of bright and dark colors.
In partnership with OneOf, the leading Web3 platform for music, lifestyle brands and sports, The Latin Recording Academy will host the first-ever NFT collection tied to The Latin GRAMMY Awards with a series of drops celebrating Latin music through a collection of NFTs debuting with Quetzal's artwork.
The first NFT in the series is available free on OneOf's website for Latin GRAMMY enthusiasts. Users that claim the free NFT will unlock airdrops of exclusive content from the 23rd Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards.
Quetzal Fuerte describes himself as an urban acupuncturist — but instead of using needles, he uses paintbrush to bring healing to the pressure points of cities. Thus, he covers blank spaces with colorful, allusive art that depicts the highs and lows of modern life while providing residents with moments of respite.
The Latin Academy will host the 23rd Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards on Thursday, November 17, 2022, from the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Today, the Latin Recording Academy announced additional performers for the 2022 Latin GRAMMYs, officially known as the 23rd Latin GRAMMY Awards, which includes current nominees and past Latin GRAMMY and GRAMMY winners like Christina Aguilera, Camilo, Elvis Costello, Jorge Drexler, John Legend, Mariachi Sol de México de José Hernández, and Christian Nodal.
Latin GRAMMY winner and five-time GRAMMY winner Christina Aguilera is currently nominated in seven categories including Album Of The Year and Record Of The Year; five-time Latin GRAMMY winner Camilo currently boasts six nominations including Record of the Year and Song of the Year; seven-time Latin GRAMMY winner and five-time GRAMMY nominee Jorge Drexler currently boasts eight nominations including Album of the Year and Record of the Year; and four-time Latin GRAMMY winner Christian Nodal is nominated for Best Ranchero/Mariachi Album and Best Regional Song.

The Latin Recording Academy announced today that Latin GRAMMY nominee Anitta, Latin GRAMMY winner and GRAMMY-nominated artist Luis Fonsi, Latin GRAMMY and GRAMMY winner Laura Pausini, and Latin GRAMMY nominee and recipient of the Latin Recording Academy’s President’s Award Thalía will together host the 2022 Latin GRAMMYs, to be held on Thursday, Nov. 17.
The 2022 Latin GRAMMYs promise to honor the legacy, celebrate the present, and embrace the future of Latin music — all with a deliberate consciousness about the future generations of music creators. With their array of styles, successes and histories, this year’s hosts embody that promise.

With a total of eight career Latin GRAMMY nominations, Brazilian pop star Anitta is currently nominated for Record of the Year and Best Reggaeton Performance. Singing in Portuguese, Spanish and English, she has helped Brazilian culture reach a global audience. She made history earlier this year when her Spanish-language single, "Envolver," topped the Global Top 50 chart on Spotify — making her the first Brazilian singer and the first solo Latin artist to do so.

Over his two decade-plus career, Luis Fonsi has won five Latin GRAMMY Awards and received five GRAMMY nominations. The Puerto Rican singer/songwriter has broken multiple records, topped the charts, and collaborated with everyone from Daddy Yankee, Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, and Ozuna. His latest album, Ley de Gravedad, debuted in the Top 10 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart and registered 975 million combined streams on various digital platforms.

Over nearly 30 years, Italian singer Laura Pausini has sold more than 70 million albums, earned four Latin GRAMMY Awards, and won a GRAMMY for Best Latin Pop Album at the 48th GRAMMY Awards. Pausini performs in six languages and has made a significant impact in the Latin music market since releasing her first Spanish-language album in 1994. Recent years have seen Pausini soar to greater heights, earning a Golden Globe for Best Original Song and an Oscar nomination. Pausini has collaborated with renowned artists including Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, Ray Charles, Phil Collins, Shakira, and Mariah Carey.
