Today, Brooklyn-based Voice, the digital art marketplace, is teaming up with PhotoVogue to create an NFT Residency Program focused on the world’s most talented emerging photographers. With photography being a traditionally underappreciated form of art, both PhotoVogue and Voice are dedicated to ensuring the medium isn’t left behind in the transition to Web3.
With a shared mission to empower emerging creators from underrepresented and marginalized communities, the Residency Program and collection will continue to amplify the storytelling power of photography and empower diverse artists globally and in the digital space. This Residency follows in the footsteps of successful partnerships with street art collective Street Theory, popular NFT project Women Rise, and influential curators Misan Harriman & Kimberly Drew
Although the NFT world is still in its infancy, at its core, a successful NFT drop relies on the power of community. It’s for this reason that PhotoVogue thinks it’s important to explore this new world, bringing their artists along for the adventure.
The NFT Residency is a one-month virtual experience where each resident within the program will be given all of the elements needed to kickstart a digital art collection, with Voice providing each participant with:
· A stipend
· Collecting fund
· Invitations to digital workshops and mentorship
· A bonus on primary sales over the first month
