Rice Robotics to Debut RICE Token for AI Data Marketplace on TokenFi Launchpad
Rice Robotics, a Hong Kong-based company specializing in AI-powered robots, is launching its RICE token on August 5th via the TokenFi Launchpad. This token will be the cornerstone of a decentralized data marketplace for AI robots, a key component of their broader initiative to tokenize robotics data and expand decentralized physical infrastructure (DePIN).
The $750,000 presale, representing 10% of the 1 billion total token supply, values the project at $7.5 million. This launch enjoys significant support from partners including BNB Chain, DWF Labs, and Floki, a memecoin ecosystem boasting over 700,000 holders and its own tokenization platform, TokenFi.
Rice Robotics’ expertise lies in indoor autonomous delivery robots, currently deployed in prominent locations such as Softbank’s Tokyo headquarters, Mitsui Fudosan’s Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, and 7-Eleven Japan stores, integrating seamlessly with the 7-Now delivery app. Their involvement in the Nvidia Inception program and selection for MVB Season 10 (an accelerator co-hosted by BNB Chain, CoinMarketCap Labs, and YziLabs) further underscores their technological prowess and market recognition.
A notable achievement was the successful 24-hour presale of 800 units of their Floki-branded Minibot M1 in May, generating significant buzz and paving the way for an upcoming RICE airdrop for Minibot owners.
The RICE token will be central to Rice Robotics’ decentralized robotics foundry, a platform enabling companies and individuals to contribute real-world robotics data in exchange for token rewards. This data will be sold to entities requiring specialized training sets, fueling the development of in-house foundation models offered on a subscription basis, with RICE token payments offering discounts.
Beyond its utility in the data marketplace, RICE will function as a governance asset and incorporate a deflationary mechanism through token burns financed by platform fees. The company’s financial strength is evidenced by a recent $7 million pre-Series A funding round, secured from investors including the Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund, Soul Capital, Audacy Ventures, Sun Hung Kai & Co., and Cyberport HK. Their success extends to winning top honors at a BNB Demo Day event in Dubai, judged by Binance founder CZ. The RICE token launch promises to be a significant development in the intersection of robotics, AI, and blockchain technology.
