STAN, the Bengaluru-headquartered blockchain-based esports fan engagement startup, has announced the rollout of thousands of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) inspired by over 50 popular gaming creators and esports athletes. This is the first time that gaming content creators are getting such prominent recognition from the crypto universe, as so far in the country, NFT collections are only announced by Bollywood and sporting celebrities such as Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Yuvraj Singh, and Dinesh Karthik.
For those unaware, NFTs are unique digital entities that are marked by exclusive ownership. If you own an NFT, you can rest assured that no one else will be able to own the exact same NFT with the exact same attributes, unless you decide to sell or trade them for other NFTs.
STAN’s new India gaming-inspired digital collection comprises over 10,000 NFTs, along with over 2,000 Limited Digital Collectibles (LDCs). Top collaborators include the likes of Jonathan, GHATAK, Total Gaming, Lokesh Gamer, and AS Gaming.

It should be noted that the NFTs and LDCs from STAN will be available for purchase on the platform for a “very short time”. The entire collection will be released over the next two months. STAN will also execute several in-app NFT drops. Dates of release for specific collections will be announced later on.
STAN’s NFT owners will get some extra perks as well, which include shoutouts and personalised messages from the creators on Instagram, meetups, as well as a chance to play games with your favorite creator, live on stream.

“We at STAN are excited to launch the NFTs of an array of esports athletes and creators in India who are associated mainly with the Free Fire and BGMI games; and at the same time, we are extremely proud to be the first in India to do so. Soon, our users will be easily able to purchase NFTs and Exclusive Limited Digital Collectibles through the STAN mobile app,” STAN co-founder and COO Nauman Mulla said. “The idea and objective behind this is to enable the users – including non-crypto-native ones – to tap into the burgeoning NFT gaming economy, while also engaging them actively along with their favorite esports creators and idols.”
