trending NFTs to buytrending NFTs to buyNon-fungible tokens (NFTs) made their grand appearance in 2021 and have since become a global sensation. Integrating with digital arts, music, gaming, and entertainment, this flourishing sub-sector shot up to unicorn status in less than six months and now plays a pivotal role in the Metaverse.
Given its closeness with the virtual reality space, several investors are on the lookout for the trending NFTs to buy this week. This article will zoom in on a few collectibles investors can add to their portfolios.
Kicking off our trending NFTs to buy list is Lucky Block’s NFT collection. Launched in the early days of 2022, the Platinum Rollers Club NFT collection has taken the crypto space by storm.
lucky block nftlucky block nftLucky Block operates mainly as a gaming platform that allows users to play its ecosystem of games without any barriers. In addition, Lucky Block has sought to revolutionise the online gaming space by ensuring a more transparent and fair gaming model.
The platform operates using Chainlink’s Verifiable Randomness (VRF) service, which ensures that all winning numbers are randomly-generated, thereby promoting fairness. These results are also publicly viewable because Lucky Block runs on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) network.
Lucky Block has generated a lot of buzz in the last six months due to its interest-yielding potential. Investors in its native token, LBLOCK, stand a chance to earn an interest commensurate with the number of assets they hold. These multiple revenue streams have incentivised investors to buy Lucky Block.
In the NFT space, Lucky Block has also continued to make waves. The gaming protocol’s in-house NFT project, Platinum Rollers Club NFTs, is a set of 10,000 unique tokens that give holders access to a number of the project’s products and services. Recently, Lucky Block commenced its daily draws. Investors who buy Lucky Block’s NFT stand a chance of winning $1 million in the NFT giveaway. Also, the NFT is one of the most pocket-friendly collectibles. Each NFT goes for $1,170.

Cryptoassets are a highly volatile unregulated investment product.
The next NFT on our list of trending NFTs to buy is Axie Infinity. This blockchain game revolves around NFTs called Axies. These Axies act as digital pets that can be bred and used to battle against other Axies. When users win a battle, they receive the other player’s Axies and the platform’s AXS tokens.

Sky Mavis has also released a plan for compensating victims of the hack. Along with the launch of Axie Infinity: Origins, this ecosystem appears to be getting back on its feet. Investors should consider this collection going forward if they’re looking to enjoy gains.
The Bored Ape Yacht Club collection has become one of the hottest-selling on the market, with celebrity endorsements and purchases pushing the floor price well above $300,000.
Bored Ape Yacht ClubBored Ape Yacht ClubIn the past few months, Yuga labs – the developers of the BAYC collection – have been making more inroads into the metaverse. After raising $450 million at a $4 billion valuation, the company has been expanding its reach. Many believe that there’s still much more to come from them besides the Otherside metaverse.
The collection was also the subject of some chatter after the release of the music video for “From The D 2 The LBC” – a track featuring legendary rappers Marshall “Eminem” Mathers III and Calvin “Snoop Dogg” Broadus. Both rappers feature as Bored Apes, bringing the collection to greater mainstream consciousness.
Another impressive pick among the trending NFTs to buy this week is the Doodles collection. Comprising over 1,000 pieces, Doodles was created by three pseudonymous artists – Burnt Toast, Tulip, and Poopie.

While some are considered to be rarer than others, the floor price of the Doodles collection sits at about 13 ETH. The collection is one of the most successful to date, generating over $505 million in sales.
Last week, the Doodles team announced the second version of the collection’s drop, which is expected to happen at an undisclosed time this year.

Considering how successful the collection has been so far, it won’t be a stretch to imagine that excitement for this drop will be at a fever pitch now.
Rounding out our list of the top trending NFTs to buy this week is CryptoPunks. The collection, which was launched by Dapper Labs, was bought by Yuga Labs back in March and is now a part of Yuga’s NFT intellectual property.

Last week, the Cryptopunks collection celebrated 5 years as one of the most valuable collections in the industry. The collection also got a new head honcho. And Noah Davis – the NFT specialist at art auction house Christie’s – announced recently that he’d be taking on a role at Yuga Labs to manage the CryptoLInks brand.

Davis was the mastermind of Beeple’s record-breaking sale of Everydays: The First 5 – Days NFT collection, which sold for almost $70 million in March 2021.
I’m humbled and honored to announce I’ll be leaving my current post in July to steward the CryptoPunks as Brand Lead under the umbrella of @yugalabs before I say anything else it’s important to confirm what we WON’T be doing… simply put: I WILL NOT FUCK WITH THE PUNKS…
— Noah (@NonFungibleNoah) June 19, 2022

His addition to the CryptoPunks team is definitely a source of excitement for the collection’s fans.
We’ve identified some of the top trending NFTs to buy, so prospective investors can add them to their portfolios. However, we recommend buying Lucky Block’s NFT, Platinum Rollers Club.
